It is thanks to listener donations that Folk Radio UK has managed to grow and operate commercially free without interrupting the music we play with on-air adverts. Despite appearances, we are a very small cottage industry type station and rely on listener support and website advertising revenues to meet our costs. You can set up a regular donation which amounts to the same as buying a decent cup of coffee from one those well known high street brands. We work very late nights on here so just imagine you’re buying us one/two/three… cups of a coffee a month…(no we won’t be spending it on coffee!)
What do you get in return?
You get great music in the form of two channels, news, reviews, videos, a forum…and some inner satisfaction that your donation is keeping this service going, a service that you will not find anywhere else on the internet. That’s called good value for money.
We’ve always run this station out of passion, share in that passion by supporting us today.
