Folk Radio UK sends out a weekly email newsletter which is administered by Mailchimp. It tells you of the latest happenings on Folk Radio including album reviews, interviews, news and details of our shows and mixes. It will also occasionally contain advertising which is relevant to what Folk Radio UK covers including festivals, live events and new releases.
The newsletter is only sent to those who subscribe to our newsletter email. This is done through choice in order to stay connected with Folk Radio UK and requires a double opt-in process to verify each email address. But if you no longer wish to receive our weekly newsletter please either unsubscribe at the bottom of the latest newsletter or let us know by email and we will completely remove you from the Mailchimp mailing list within 30 days of receiving your request.
You may choose to enter giveaways / competitions. When you enter a giveaway / competition or request additional information, we request personal information about you such as your name, postal address, e-mail address and telephone number. The information you provide is either manually or electronically stored temporarily in our databases for the purpose of contacting the winner. Following the giveaway, the data collected is deleted.
