The Bony King of Nowhere enters the playlists of Folk Radio UK this week with his new album Eleonore. His distinctive voice and melodies will make an instant impression as will his dramatic lyrics. Better know to acquaintances as Belgian composer Bram Vanparys, The Bony King of Nowhere is going to be big this year.

The Wire magazine were quick to pick up on his talents and included his demo in their ‘Domino Festival’ compilation. This led to other exposures which included making some songs for a soundtrack at the request of Kieran Hebden (aka Fourtet) and personal praise from Devendra Banhart. It all gave a lift and Bram’s first album, Alas my Love, was released in 2009.
