Well despite the weather near the end of the event I think Folk by the Oak was as successful and enjoyable as their first show last year. If you are looking for a festival with lots of side amenities, amusements, foods, drinks and other things to do, then you might not like the limited choice that was found here. If you are looking for somewhere to have a picnic in beautiful surroundings while listening to some great live music, then fingers crossed they’ll do this again next year. This years line up was top class, though it pains me to say it, they really needed an upbeat lively finish that I’m afraid Kate Rusby could have never accomplished pregnant or not.
