Nearly end of term for Auntie Jools - just as well, because she is nearly at the end of her energy.....

I like John Martyn and the same for Eddi Reader, but can't stand her doing this one. Sorry.

Its Friday and I am still brassed off with our lovely government, so I thought I would put this one up from a local Lincolnshire friend, which he sent to me this week.

Singer/Songwriter Dick Appleton - Gravy Train.

And so to the weekend with what one my call a bit of a belter.

    YouTube - AC/DC - Whole Lotta Rosie :willy_nilly:

Yes that did me a lot of good. Ready for a real ale now. :cheers2:

Oh you've brung up some memories !

I saw AC/DC 4 nights in a row at The Hammersmith Odeon in the 70's when Bon scott was still alive. These were the days when if you were in the know you would queue at a side door and once everyone was in they would let a certain number of people in for a quid to stand at the back of the stalls. After the first night I sussed out that Angus Young left the stage and reappeared at the top of the middle aisle and played a solo so the next three nights I stood in that spot and basked in the glory of being in the same spotlight as Angus. On the forth night he shouted "You here again!" at me.:hurray:

I would of seen them 5 times but on the last night we were waiting for the side door to open when a black 70's limo pulled up and they all tumbled out and Bon Scott said "we are going over the road for a pint anyone want one" about 50 of us went to the pub where Bon Scott bought a round for the whole pub ! When we went back the door was locked and the house full. I smiled my home on the tube, Then a week or so later it was announced that Bon Scott was dead:frown2:

    Talking FRUKDAY 26thJune.

The best thing about Fridays is I can listen to Folkradio all day as the guy I share an office with is always at another site and I'm left on me own.:hurray::)
