    Old Man
    The Wailin' Jennys

It's not Neil Young but it works for me. It's a good treatment of a good song. Maybe not a clear 5 stars but felt I should redress the balance with whichever curmudgeon grudgingly voted it just 1 star.;)
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

I'm not going to vote on this because that would be unfair - but thanks for sticking this in the mix.

    The Lucky One
    Au Revoir Simone

This is very reminiscent of Polyphonic Spree. It ended too quick though to give it many stars

Whatever happend to The Polyphonic Spree? I saw them at Northampton Roadmenders supported by Athlete . I still don't know how they managed to get them all on that stage.

    Waiting around to die
    Be Good Tanyas

Lovely to hear this track again. Saw them in concert in Leicester a couple of years ago. Kathryn Williams supporting. They were able to reproduce their album tracks faithfully, and in great detail, but the whole performance was not exactly sparkling. On the whole, a disappointing evening after being a fan for ages.

All seem to have gone their separate ways now, sadly. Have visited their web pages periodically and there is nothing new on the horizon.

This is one hell of a singer. She supported Richard Thompson at The Sage Gateshead last year...I'm sure it's posted somewhere on this forum...

Expect many more great singer/songwriters on the Frukie stream...
