There doesn't appear to be a thread dedicated to music on the radio, other than the excellent streams available here of course, but may I recommend Genevieve Tudor on BBC Radio Shropshire of a Sunday night.

Northamptonshire, home of folk music!
I’d rather not tune in to FRUK if I cannot have ample enough time on the computer because FolkRadio is so more-ish. Two or three tunes at a time just won’t do for me, oh no. I’d want to stuff myself. Which of late I’m rarely capable of on account of changes at work and its effect on the so called work/life balance. I’d rather not tie things up when there’s others who may have use for them. So I find myself listening on the old fashioned radio more and more and my two other loves: Jazz and Classical.
I can only wonder what it would be like to have FRUK available on the old fashioned steam driven radio

May I recommend BBC Radio Devon on a Sunday evening 5-7 as Jim Causley hosts a folk show. Tonight he has Jackie Oats with him, next week Jenna and week after Steve Knightley will be joining him. I know that it is more folk and we already have the superb folk radio for that, but I'd listen to it just for Jim's chat. Funny Funny Man!!!
Oh, and it's available on BBC iplayer for a week after.
Don't forget "I am Kloot" in sesh on Radcliffe and Maconie tonight and "The Coral" tomorrow!![]()
