...well not really just watched. More like many moons ago and then again many moons later. Anyway, anybody else seen "The Straight Story"? I was browsing my library a while back for a DVD to have a night in when, I don't know, this one seemed to grab me. Nothing spectacular about it anywhere but it turned out to be quite a nice little film. Its about this old man...lawn mower...
You know how some films make the music and vice versa - the music making the film? This one worked together. Great film, great music(Angelo Badalamenti). Go grab if you can.

No I didn't, ended up watching BBC iPlayer - How to Live a Simple Life: Episode 1
a complete waste of time for me.
The Shantie programme looked good but wasn't something I thought Amanda would sit through.

Yerse, I watched it and thought the presenter was a little bit of a dickie head but the singing was v good. I would have liked more songs and less of him saying,"How astonishing" etc. But that is because I am old and curmudgeonly.
