Bella Hardy - Night Visiting Print E-mail
Thursday, 07 February 2008

ImageThis is the exciting and long awaited debut solo album from Bella Hardy. Bella is a magnificently accomplished singer and fiddle player and with a unique voice that will stop anyone in their tracks. The ingredients of a great folk artist! As a debut album it is exceptional.

The album features a selection of top musicians, including harpist Corrina Hewat of The Unusual Suspects, Chris Sherburn, concertina genius of Last Night's Fun, Hannah James of Kerfuffle (a name that keeps cropping up on here: Demon Barbers latest project), 422's Joey Oliver and The Askew sisters with whom Bella is touring with as a double bill in spring/summer 2008. The 11 songs include Bella's unique interpretations of traditional classics from "All Things Are Quite Silent" and "Bonny Susie Cleland" to "Searching For Lambs". Bella also demonstrates her song writing prowess in "Alone, Jane?" and the night visiting song "Three Black Feathers".
