Hex is - Ruth Price, Terry Dix and Linda Dix. We got together about 2 years ago. We have all been singing individually for a long time and thought it would be good to sing some of those great traditional songs that seem to have been forgotten. Ruth lives in Peterborough but comes from Dewsbury; Terry and Linda live in Kettering. We were booked artists for Warwick and Bromyard Folk Festivals last year and Cornwall Folk Festival the year before. We released an 'Sleep when you're dead' in the summer of 2006 (launched at Whitby Folk Week with the help of Mr Sid Kipper).

This is a fine album which shows off the singing talents of this trio to perfection. My personal favourite is "Sweep Shimney Sweep" by the renowned Copper Family. As Hex state every folk album should include a song by the Coppers.
