Three of England’s finest folk musicians: Andy Cutting, Sam Sweeney and Rob Harbron are on the road again this month as Leveret for the launch of their latest album ‘In the Round‘. Anyone that knows these players will be aware they are at the top of the game when it comes to playing their respective instruments (accordion, fiddle, and concertina). Individually, they are highly sought after as collaborative musicians which include Eliza Carthy’s Wayward Band and The Full English (sam), Simpson, Cutting & Kerr and Topette (Andy), The Full English and Fay Hield (Rob).
As you can imagine, getting a tour together is no easy task. As well as being top-notch instrumentalists they also have a great energy and spontaneity which is made for the stage so make every opportunity to catch them while you can (see dates below which include London’s Kings place). Here they are performing The Good Old Way as featured on ‘In The Round’. It was recorded live at The Convent.
‘Sublime, exquisite music – don’t miss them’ Martin Simpson
