Fraser Anderson is a critically acclaimed Scottish guitarist, singer and songwriter who learned his trade performing as a touring vocalist with national institution Dougie MacLean. Fraser’s recently reissued third album, ‘Little Glass Box’, was a Featured Album of the Month on Folk Radio UK and was also warmly received by the media and championed by the likes of BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris and Zoe Ball, the leading acoustic music shows on BBC Scotland, Ulster and Wales, and many more.
Primed and ready to record his fourth album, ‘Under The Cover Of Lightness’, which Fraser emphatically pronounces will contain “the strongest set of songs I’ve ever written”, he is financing the project via Crowdfunder.

The campaign was launched in July with an intimate live acoustic show in Fraser’s current home town of Bristol, where he performed the full set of songs planned for the album for the first time in public. The project then got off to a flying start, raising 40% of the total sum needed in the opening weekend. Pledgers have until noon on 21st August to participate.
For an idea of what to expect from the album, one of the new songs ‘Feel’ premiered in Bristol, it’s also our Song of the Day:
