With their new album Louder Than Words attracting great reviews and airplay (fresh in the Folk Radio UK playlist this week), The Henry Girls are over in the UK this month for a series of dates including Glastonbury Festival where they’ll be playing the acoustic stage.

The three sisters Karen, Lorna, and Joleen McLaughlin from County Donegal, Ireland are riding a crest of a wave with their Irish roots and Americana influenced music picking up an ever increasing fan base across the globe. We’ll have more on the album soon, but in the meantime here they are with a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Reason to Believe’, also our Song of the Day.

‘These sisters have a sensational talent. The quality of their harmony singing goes beyond mere technique. They possess an unerring ability to blend tone and resonance in a seamless fashion.’
– Eamon Carr, The Evening Herald (IRL)
