With their epic new video previewed last week at FolkEast press launch (watch it again below) we have a new Song of the Day from False Lights, the new project from Jim Moray and Sam Carter. Here is Polly On The Shore:Polly On The Shore, which Jim revealed to us was his favourite song, was collected from George ‘Pop’ Maynard in West Hoathly, Sussex in the 1950s. As well as being one of the greatest English folk singers and a crucial source singer, he was also a champion marble player!
