Singing sensation Eska, will return to the venue that gave her a violin scholarship aged 12 for a concert on Saturday 26th April. Eska Mtungwazi, who grew up in Lewisham and is now based in Peckham, attended regular violin and piano lessons at the Conservatoire and is now a well-respected and successful jazz singer, having performed with highly renowned singers such as Jaime Cullum.
The gig is part of The Conservatoire’s new folk series in collaboration with The Nest Collective at which Eska will be joined by Viljam Nybacka, a London-based musician of Finnish origin whom we have featured before for his work with Seamus Cater.
