Steeleye Span’s legendary fiddle player Peter Knight is out on the road again this autumn with his band Gigspanner made up of Roger Flack on Guitar and Vincent Salzfaas on Congas and Djembe. Together they bring their own brand of ‘cool folk’ with far-reaching musical influences from Eastern European, French, Cajun, African and even Aboriginal. Whilst Roger shares a folk rock affinity with Peter Vincent offers a striking counterbalance having studied his craft in Senegal and Cuba.
It’s beautiful, alternative, ambient and perfect to escape to…it’s also unique and unlike any other band out there, we love it!
