The latest track from the Perth, Australia based five-piece band Pond to get the video treatment is their sixties pyschedelic sounding O Dharma taken from their fifth LP Hobo Rocket released on Modular where their technicolour stable mates Tame Impala also dwell. According to the label it was shot one afternoon at Lake Gwelup, the clip was created by pals at Krang Doogs, edited by Nathan Savage and filmed by Paul Kaminski. Using Super 8 film, the clip is part ethereal, part mind explosion and has some kind of Indian coloured dust thrown in for good measure. It reminds me of footage from Big Sur circa 1969…Enjoy.
