Louis Killen provides soundtrack to new Toast Short Film

The folk music archives of Topic Records seem the current flavour in the fashion world after being featured in two new short films by Toast.

Louis Killen’s ‘Ship In Distress’ is used as one soundtrack which is from Topic Records ‘Blow the Man Down‘ which included 24 seafaring songs from the likes of Louis to Cyril Tawney and Bob Davenport. It was filmed in black and white in St. Ives and features some sombre faced models sporting some nice vintage inspired cothing, it works really well. Watch it below:

They also feature the track ‘Nanina’ which featured on the Topic album ‘Georgian Voices from Songs Of Survival: Traditional Music of Georgia’ for their Womens Autumn collection film shot in the high plains and hill towns of Abruzzo and then the Tusheti mountains of Georgia:
