Caravan Palace, the apostles of Electro Swing, have released a new video for ‘Dramaphone‘ taken from their new album ‘Panic’. The video does huge justice to the music with some very sharp hot feet moves from the roaring twenties through to jitterbug, bop and more. Whilst they share a passion for electronic music it’s their crossover into the land of Django with gypsy jazz that has helped forge their sound. The band have grown from a trio to almost double in size and now have a posse that follow them aound to their powerhouse live performances…whilst they continue to enjoy the electronic they also continue to delve back into the thirties and forties swing jazz taking inspiration from the likes of Fletcher Henderson and less mainstream musicians like Charlie Chavers and Mildred Bailey as will be evidenced on their new album ‘Panic’ due out on November 19th.
