As many of you know from our previous features Julie Murphy launched her solo album, “A quiet house” this year, her first in years. To commemorate the album launch we featured a live link up to her home where she recorded and launched it from.
Julie is literally just setting off on her autumn tour (having just come off the phone with her). She will be making a number of stops on her tour from London’s Nest Collective to Brighton’s Komedia as well as Halsway Manor in Somerset, the full tour details can be found below.
Julie will be stopping off close by to us at the very beautiful Halsway Manor in Somerset. Halsway Manor is an independent charity that features events and learning activities in traditional folk music, dance, song, storytelling, folklore and related arts and crafts. Julie will be performing there on Wednesday 19th September at 8.00pm and the setting will be perfect for her performance. So if you’re in the area then come and join us!
