When Sigur Rós released Valtari they approached a dozen film makers to create a film of whatever came into their mind upon listening to songs from the album. Each film maker was given the same budget to work to, the idea being to bypass the usual artistic approval process and allow people utmost creative freedom. As you would expect, the results vary considerably which just exemplifies how personal music is to each and every person that perceives it.
