The Walkmen unveiled their new video for ‘The Love You Love’ taken from their new album Heaven which has been attracting very positive reviews from the music press. The track features a sixties sounding electric guitar intro, reminiscent of the Rolling Stones intro to ‘Time is on my Side’. There the comparison ends…
The video is shot in black & white and was directed by Sean Pecknold (brother of Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes) who also directed videos for Here We Go Magic, Fleet Foxes and Beach House. The video features Hamilton Leithauser and his son.
