Change is a Drunk is the latest album from Las Vegas based ‘Dreaming of Lions’ who came into being back in 2005 when Chris Leland took the decision to record his songs for the first time. The lo-fi production of this alt-country / indie-folk band wins hands down on this many and other releases that come from the stable of National SouthWestern Electronic Recordings who’s motto: “Records made in a suburban Las Vegas garage. Your guarantee of quality” says it all and we love DIY artists.
The last album “A Lover’s Vow!” (March 2010) was released after a three month collaboration with Mother McKenzie the recording moniker of Wyatt McKenzie who recently featured in session on Simple Folk Radio back in April.
