Portico Quartet reveal video to Ruins

London post-jazz troupe Portico Quartet have revealed their latest video offering titled ‘Ruins’ taken from their forthcoming self-titled album due out in January 2012 on Real World Records. On Ruins soprano saxophonist Jack Wyle takes the lead thread which weaves through their driving bass lines and pulsing drums. Portico Quartet are at their frontier!

Portico Quartet will be bringing their stunning new line-up, featuring long-standing members Duncan Bellamy, Jack Wyliie and Milo Fitzpatrick, plus latest addition Keir Vine, to the intimate setting of the Purcell Room at Queen Elizabeth Hall on Saturday 19 November 2011. Support comes from Manchester guitarist and composer Stuart McCallum is best known for his work with Cinematic Orchestra.
