New Folk Radio UK Mix – The Tradition

The latest Folk Radio UK mix is titled ‘The Tradition’ and includes A.L. Lloyd singing alongside Jackie Oates (Walking with Ghosts project) as well as a mix of new and old from the likes of Alasadair Roberts, Martin Carthy, Hedy West, Jason Steel, Elle Osborne, Lucy Ward, Dougie Maclean and more.

The British folk scene is a vibrant place to be in right now, the folk music tradition is constantly evolving as new artists re-interpret music of the past with their own twists and influences. The mix closes with Mike Waterson who passed away this week whose legacy lives on!
