Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros & Old Crow Medicine Show gave a 100 lucky punters their first taste of the Railroad Revival Tour as they performed a private set in San Franciso. Watch them perform the Old Crow Medcine Show track Wagon Wheel below.
The first post went up on the RRT site which gave an indication of the expense and difficulty in getting such a tour off the ground:
We’re parked here in the Oakland Amtrak yard while our train is prepped for our move to Middle Harbor Shoreline Park. The sounds, smells and sights push the excitement and anticipation to new levels. Years in the making, getting to this moment has been a huge undertaking that would be hard to describe in a single post. Let’s just say there are much cheaper and entirely less complicated ways of doing tours and music festivals.
