Great news for all you Irish fans! Lisa Hannigan will be doing a series of dates across Ireland this May through July, in anticipation of her upcoming sophomore album!
Beginning on May 6 in Cork and wrapping up on July 30 in Kildare, you’ll be able to catch Lisa and the band performing all new material, which they crafted and recorded in Wales earlier this year.
In January 2010 there was a tribute concert at the Barbican to Nick Drake and his arranger Robert Kirby, who had recently passed away. One of the best highlights of the evening was Lisa Hannigan’s performance of “Black Eyed Dog”:
