Following the successful release of Lau -v- Karine polwart Evergreen EP a further Lau collaboration Ep is planned, this time with Adem. Lau are currently working on an EP with multi-talented musician/producer Adem. Introduced to them by Lau live sound engineer Tim, they spent a very pleasurable first day recording a couple of tracks with Adem in London.

He is a really inspiring guy and encouraged us to try all sorts of things we wouldn’t normally get up to including playing a variety of instruments not let loose normally within the Lau noise-menagerie.

For those that missed this early promo video, it sums up the genius of this amazing trio:

In other news, Lau will be returning to London’s beautiful Union Chapel venue on December 2nd with special guest Duotone.

Karine Polwart has announced that the mighty trio LAU have asked if she’ll come along to their local Edinburgh show next week at The Queens Hall (Wednesday 24th November) and sing a couple of the songs they recorded together for the EVERGREEN EP earlier this year. Also, Inge Thomson, Karine’s regular trio bandmate, will be doing some of her own songs.

Another heads up is that Lau vs KP play the whole EP together and their own sets too at Leeds Opera House next February.
