Mt. Desolation – State of Affairs video

Mt. Desolation have grown in stature to be considered more than just a quoted side-project from Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley and Jesse Quin. If anything, I get the feeling the project has outgrown Keane and will continue to do so, if they allow it, and I hope they do. They recently unveiled their video for State of Affairs which is shot in a beautiful period hall. The opening sequence is acoustically stunning!

This will no doubt have everyone itching for the release of their self-titled debut album due for release on the 18th October through Island Records and is preceded by the release of their debut single ‘Departure’ next week. The album features guest contributions from the likes of The Killers, Noah & The Whale, Mumford & Sons, The Long Winter and more. Not to be missed!

Order it now: Mt. Desolation
