The Low Anthem have been getting a lot more attention in the UK recently following the announcement of their appearance at Celtic Connections on 28th January followed by further UK dates on their European Tour. They are also teaming up with another Frukie favourite of ours, Brown Bird, whose new album, The Devil Dancing, can be heard on Frukie from next week. They put on this great mini concert for NPR recently, the set list was: Ghost Woman Blues, This God Damn House and To the Ghosts Who Write History Books.
They are also busy recording as well as touring. With the help of friends at the Hope Artiste Village in Pawtucket, they were fortunate enough to find an abandoned pasta sauce factory in Central Falls which they are making into a home for beautiful music and a place to play ball in:
