We welcome another new label to the Frukie stream which offers some great alternative music akin to finding a golden leaf in the wood. They have a nice earthy pagan feel about them, but maybe that’s just me. I love what I’ve heard so far!

Autumn Ferment Records are a new independent label based in the north east of Scotland dedicated to foraging the musical hedgerows for unique and captivating music of an alternative/ psych folk based nature. An idea that had been brewing for sometime, AFR grew up and out from the leaf litter of autumn 2007 and slowly began to spread its roots.

A bundle of CDs arrived from this week and I’ll be sifting through them to add some great new tracks to the Frukie playlist.

i really like the way alt/psych/freak folk has recaptured the true spirit of bohemia!
