Strange places to perform in…

It’s becoming quite popular now to film music sessions in unusual locations or venues. I paid a visit to one local listener yesterday, known as Revjoakie in our forum, he’s a fellow Clevedonian so I didn’t travel far. Anyway, we were talking about music and good sites. He introduced me to one called The Black Cab Sessions. They feature videos of different artists playing in, yes, you guessed, a Black Cab! Apart from the oddity of the location what was appealing was the number of great artists who obviously enjoyed performing in the back of a Cab, no not that type of performing, this is a music site.

Here is Bill Callahan:

Another popular one is a hotel Lift in Amsterdam, these sessions are called “Behind Closed Doors”, the mind boggles They managed to get Sam Beam to come for a ride although he felt the whole idea was retarded and he told them so, but unfortunately for him he had to play another tune as they hadn’t reached the floor yet.
Here’s Sam Beam going up or was he going down?

Here is another one just discovered. Timely as well seeing as I’ve just reviewed her new album ‘To Be Still’,

Alela Diane performing in a Laundromat in Paris. Maybe she got her washing done for free (Washing Machine No. 15 was vibrating a lot)

If you find anymore that fit in with the music played on the streams then let me know…
